Hosts: The Fortune Family: Ruth and Ray Fortune, Sherry and Jamie Fortune
Maple syrup has been produced from the sugar bush at Fortune Farms for over 100 years and has been owned and operated by the Fortune Family since 1972. From pioneer to modern, we do it all. The Kettle Boys make syrup in their boiling kettles and entertain with toys and tales. The Shanty Men make syrup in a traditional wood fired evaporator where you can watch the sap boil and smell the sweet steam.
Our modern high efficiency evaporator REALLY pours out the syrup and it’s fun to watch it streaming from the pan. We love to share our passion for making maple syrup and we always take time to explain the art and science of the maple process.
From tree to treat you can relax and enjoy a visit to Fortune Farms. Open daily 10 to 5.
