Hosts: Ron & Lillian Grubb
Our “Sugar Shack” is in our maple bush, located between Palmerston and Harriston. We have 1000 taps hooked to a pipeline sysem. A forced air, wood fired evaporator is used to boil the sap. Collecting and boiling maple sap during the spring has become our passion. Come see how maple syrup is produced and spend some time with us in our sugar shack.
We will be serving maple syrup samples with Aebelskiver (Round pancake balls) and sausage. Maple Syrup, Maplebutter, Mapleleaf candy and Mapleleaf lollipops will also be available to purchase.
This year we will have a donation jar for Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, so that they will be able to raise awareness, support, and funds for those suffering from Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Any donation will be appreciated. Please share this invitation with your family, friends and co-workers all are welcome.
